Summer 2013 Update: Please email us about open spots, dates and camp fees for July and August 2013. Due to a great interest, there will be multiple camps during the summer months.

Exclusive and Unique Summer Art Camp for Exceptional Young Artists

This summer camp is open to all young artists, ages 11-16 who are interested in arts, science and creativity in general. The students must pass an entrance interview. The goals of the camp are:

Artist portfolio development
Learning new art techniques
Creating public art
Meeting the world renowned artists and scientists
Exploring relationship between nature and culture
Summer week you will never forget

YOUNG ARTISTS:


Omar, Alexander and Lillien spent the last week of their summer vacation in Albus Cavus Camp. During this time they have visited interesting creative people in DC area and worked hard on developing their own new pieces:

12:30pm to 4pm - Tour of art studios and facilities in George Mason University, School of Art with Peter Winant and Ben Ashworth

Wednesday
9am to 11:30am - Studio Work
11:30am to 12:30pm - Lunch at Volathai / Fojol Bros Foodtruck
12:30pm to 4pm - Hands-on visit to NIH Laboratory of Cellular Imaging anf Macromolecular Biophysics with Maria Aronova Ph.D. and Alioscka Sousa Ph.D.

Thursday
9am to 11:30am - Studio Work
11:30am to 12:30pm - Lunch at Merlindia / Fojol Bros Foodtruck
12:30pm to 4pm - Tour of Smithsonian OEC Model Shop with Lora Collins

Friday
9am to 11:30am - Studio Work
1pm to 3pm - Arrival to our cabin, lunch
3pm to 5pm - Lost in the woods
5pm to 8pm - Plein air painting and fishing
8pm to 10pm - Dinner and campfire

Saturday
8am to 9am - Breakfast
9am to 11am - Hike to Bloede Dam
12pm - Arrival to the studio
