This area is an underutilized narrow path along Route 18 and Raritan River, connecting Boyd Park and Bucceluch Park in New Brunswick, NJ. In 2007 we adopted it with help of hundreds of local residents and artists and with support from The City of New Brunswick, NB Arts Council, Middlesex County Cultural Heritage Commission, Johnson and Johnson, Colart (Liquitex Paint), NB Tomorrow, 21st Century Learning Centers, Frank’s Hardware and many other local businesses.

This place has given birth to some of the largest participatory events, during which hundreds of artists painted along the one mile path.

At this time, the project is on hold. It is closed to artists to paint. If you are interested in building upon the previous success of community revitalization efforts, contact us to recreate the resources necessary for maintaining the path and to create new artwork. This unique space depends on community investment to nourish and to be used for recreation, jogging, biking, bird watching and creating large scale art. Right now it is littered and unsafe. Please help to safe open spaces in NJ!
