The third and final wall of La Entrada Project was just finished. This large-scale public art project will be officially opened this Saturday, April 11th 2009 in San Diego CA. The opening reception will feature artwork created by the participants of ten workshops that were running during the time that the large murals were painted.
Meet the artists at 4pm at Chicano Park to take a walking tour to see the murals for La Entrada Apartments at the corner of Logan Avenue and Beardsley. The murals will be blessed in a special ceremony. The tour will continue to the opening reception at La Bodega de Maiz located at 2196 Logan Avenue, San Diego CA. The performers include Son Sin Fronteras, DJ Rudy Palos, Jim Moreno. And bring your instruments and noise-makers for a jam session on the roof to bring the entire project and exhibit to a grand finale.

Nice opening ceremony, blessing of the murals, workshop art……dj rudy was far-out…..but no jam session
