I live in Columbia Heights in Washington DC where you all recently hosted an art jam and beautified the construction fence at 11th and Park Sts NW. It is FANTASTIC. I have lived in Columbia Heights since 1986 when it was still lost in the abandoned darkness post 1968 riots. I’ve dreamed of a day when art, music, community gardens, small coffee shops, theater, etc might spring forth again from its “dry bones.” You all have helped make that dream come true. Thanks so much. See a short blog post I did here: http://twurl.nl/n3acnw
