The preparation of our newest mural site has began last week by preparing and fixing the wall, powerwashing and priming the wall. The wall is located on a side of Wisdom Cafe, a couple blocks from John Philip Sousa Bridge. The address is 1432 Pennsylvania Avenue SE, in a walking distance from Potomac Avenue Metro (Blue/Orange Line)

The leading artists Alicia DECOY Cosnahan and Chanel Compton have met with the young artists who will be assisiting in the entire process of mural creation.

The proposed sketch shows a marching band lined up behind John Philip Sousa, who was born and lived on the same block as our studio is located.
